King Island Australia Day Celebration

It’s all looking good for Thursday 26^th January 2023 Australia Day Celebrations. The event is happening at the War memorial park / skate / playground park in Currie. Aside from the formal proceedings of the day, Foundations to Flourish are running a Colour Run event, unveiling their Project Gratitude 1601, there will be large garden games for everyone to enjoy, the forecast is for a cracking weather day (fingers crossed) and discussions are underway for musicians to perform on the main stage. Their will also be a range of community-based markets.

As per previous years, King Island Council will support local producers by giving each attendee a $5 voucher to spend at any stall.
