Island Car Hire offers a range of affordable cars, with prices starting from $89 per day (GST inclusive). Collecting your car is a quick and straightforward process; the car keys are stored in a secure lockbox on your car, in which you use the unique passcode we give you to open it and retrieve them.

Important notice for all King Island Travellers: Telstra is the only network provider that services King Island, meaning that if you are serviced by an alternative provider (Optus, Dodo, etc.) you will not have mobile signal. To avoid this inconvenient problem, Island Car Hire recommends that you and your travelling companions purchase and activate a Telstra or Boost SIM card from a Telstra shop or participating vendor prior to arrival. This ensures you have mobile reception in case you need roadside assistance or to contact us about your hire.
