Be Connected program - Tech learning and support for people 50 and over

Be Connected is an Australia wide initiative empowering all Australians to thrive in a digital world. KIRDO has access to learning resources as well as being a Network of community partners - the Be Connected Network - who offer support so you can develop your digital skills and confidence. If you enjoy using technology and want to help others, you can also be a digital mentor.

To support people with learning technology, KIRDO also has a loan device program. If you are 50 and over, you are able to borrow an apple ipad, samsung tablet or a laptop for 2-3 weeks to practice using them. This is a free program and also includes free internet access on the device for the loan period.
