Lions Club

The King Island Lions Club is a volunteer non-profit organization operating under the umbrella of Lions International and the motto, "WE SERVE".

The Lions Club meets on a monthly basis to discuss and plan local and international issues raised by members. They also organise working bees to maintain the various properties that the Club are responsible for and to provide heating wood for those in need.

The King Island Lions Club aims to improve the quality of life on King Island and help those who are less able to help themselves. As part of the Lions Club ethos, members provide their services by making hospital and home visits on a regular basis and participating in fundraising activities to assist medical research into health problems.

The King Island Lions Club was Chartered in April 1969,  our Club has 38 members and we are actively seeking more.
